Laboratory Operations Supervisor Plymouth Press LLC Aurora, CO Job Details Full-time $35 - $37 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Manufacturing management Team supervision Manufacturing facility experience Supervising experience Records management Task prioritization Production planning Managing manufacturing teams Process management Full Job Description Laboratory Operations Supervisor We are seeking a hands-on Laboratory Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operators and production activities in a chemical laboratory/manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily work of laboratory and production operators Assign shifts, tasks, equipment, and daily production priorities Ensure operators follow approved SOPs, safety procedures, and production instructions Monitor workflow and help keep production on schedule Maintain shift logs, production records, equipment logs, and operator checklists Coordinate equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, and routine inspections Identify operational problems and escalate equipment, safety, or process issues Coordinate with laboratory, maintenance, environmental compliance, and management teams Train new operators and maintain operator training records Conduct shift handoffs and daily production meetings Monitor housekeeping, PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety requirements Assist management with staffing, scheduling, attendance, and operator performance Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of production, laboratory, chemical-processing, or manufacturing experience required Previous team-lead or supervisory experience required Experience supervising operators in a hands-on production environment is a plus Familiarity with reactors, pumps, filtration, vacuum systems, process equipment, or similar industrial equipment preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable maintaining production records and following written SOPs Safety-focused and able to enforce procedures consistently OSHA or other relevant safety training is a plus
