Job DescriptionBroad Function and Purpose of Position:
To oversee the daily operations of the Quality Lab including all quality testing, auditing, and inspection activities. As an integral part of the Quality team, this position will be challenged to assure and improve product quality through prevention.

Provides training and supervision to Quality Control Technicians.

Provides required reports to internal customers.

Oversees QIR system including customer return analysis.

Oversees incoming product inspection and releases.

Implement new test equipment and methods as necessary.

Provide assistance and support to Quality Engineers as required. Support projects related to introduce new materials, packaging, products and processes.

Maintains QMS document records including
SOP/SQP/SMS
per Sika procedures.

Monitors plant adherence to policies and procedures using formal audits.

Maintains and orders supplies for QC laboratory.

Monitors and ensures that all direct and indirect reports perform their duties in a safe manner.

Advises production managers and supervisors of quality issues requiring attention.

Utilize statistics to evaluate weaknesses and preventive actions.

Perform other projects as required; Automotive (re-) domestications efforts and plant troubleshooting & investigations. Perform other assignments as required.
Annual Salary Range:
$85,000-$97,000 based on experience, and qualifications of the applicant. 
QualificationsQualifications/Experience:
BS or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or process optimizationR D or Quality lab experience preferred (Automotive specifically desired). Ability to work a flexible work schedule or off shift.
Years Experience:
3 years minimum experience in supervision.

Understand the ISO9001 and
IATF 16949
is plus.
