About the Business The Barre on Stuyvesant is a new boutique Barre + Mat Pilates studio opening in Lyndhurst, NJ. We're a small, family-run local business something new from the ground up — not a franchise, not a big-box gym. We're looking for our first Lead Trainer to help shape the studio before we even open our doors. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Instructor specializing in Barre and Mat Pilates to join our vibrant fitness community. This is a ground-floor opportunity, not just a teaching gig. You'll be one of the first hires on the team, working directly with ownership to get the studio schedule, class formats, and culture right — and helping us find the rest of the instructor team as we grow. In this role, you will lead engaging group classes, inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals, and foster a motivating environment that promotes health, strength, and well-being. Your expertise will help elevate our program offerings, ensuring participants receive safe, effective, and enjoyable exercise experiences.
