Job Title Biology Lab Manager Student Assistant Department Biology Terms and Hours Approx. 3 - 4 hrs/wk Job Category Student Employment Hourly Wage Portland Metro Minimum Wage ($16.80) Job Summary Biology Lab Manager Student Assistant will assist the Biology Lab Manager with lab space management. Cleaning as needed, stocking consumables, and performing inventories. Will assist in keeping the Autoclave Room clean and in order. Will assist with various projects that come up during the school year. Wash dishes, run materials through autoclave cycles. Core Duties Assist Biology Lab Manager with inventory Run materials through autoclave Wash and clean supplies Collect lab coats for laundering and hang up once they come back. Cleaning lab space as needed Stocking consumables Assessing and organizing inventory Other relevant duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Satisfactory progress toward a degree. Satisfactory evaluations in any prior position as a departmental assistant in the Department of Biology Preferred Qualifications Students with Federal Work Study in Financial Aid Package preferred.
