Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

The Medical Technologist accurately and promptly, performs a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This role requires adherence to strict quality control procedures, a commitment to patient safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely results.Medical Technologist Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors or equivalent in Laboratory Sciences, including completion of one-year training in an approved school of medical technology and eligible for registration with ASCP required.Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS by the ASCP) preferred. This is a safety sensitive position. •
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and medical terminologyPreferred Requirements:
One or more years experience working as a Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting that includes the performance of high complexity testing. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic medical recordsBenefits & Perks:
