A Sleep Laboratory Technologist works within sleep clinics with patients with known or suspected sleep disorders. Schedules and coordinates patient assessment, testing, results reporting, treatment and follow up. Performs polysomnographic testing. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of the test equipment to ensure its proper operating condition.

Job Description

Sleep Medicine at Valley View Offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to sleep. Board Certified Sleep Medicine Physicians, including Pulmonologists, Neurologists, and Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Exciting PRN opportunity for a Polysomnographic Technologist to join our Valley View Team to help fill in for staff.
Primary Duties:
The Polysomnographic Technologist will perform, and score Sleep Studies on Outpatients in Hospital Setting and will set up and download Home Sleep Studies on Outpatients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
CPSGT/RPSGT or other nationally recognized Sleep Credential. Associate degree or bachelor's Degree preferred BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Experience:
Sleep lab experience. Professional affiliations and additional skill registration preferred.
SALARY RANGE
‎Base Rate +14% PRN Differential Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm. $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
