Position Summary:
The Technical Coordinator (MT or MLS) would be responsible for scheduling staff, supporting training and continuing education, competency assessment, providing leadership guidance for laboratory staff and partnering with hospital clinical staff in problem resolution. This role requires generalist medical technology bench duties in addition to supportive administrative duties such as review of quality control and maintenance, regulatory agency compliance preparation, policy review, instrument validation and proficiency testing monitoring.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with MT/MLS (ASCP) generalist certification or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic Beaker experience WellSky Blood Bank experience Familiarity with current instrumentation Previous laboratory leadership experience
