3+ years of Medical Technologist experience Active, unencumbered Florida license or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities Conduct various laboratory tests including clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunoassays, and molecular diagnostics such as PCR and RNA extraction. Prepare and process specimens through blood sampling, venipuncture, specimen collection, and processing techniques while maintaining aseptic procedures. Operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment with precision, ensuring calibration and quality assurance protocols are followed. Manage laboratory data efficiently using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), ensuring accurate data entry and analysis. Implement laboratory quality control protocols to uphold CLIA regulations and ensure consistent test accuracy. Interpret diagnostic test results such as flow cytometry data, ELISA assays, and other specialized tests; communicate findings clearly to healthcare providers. Support clinical trials by performing specialized assays and maintaining meticulous documentation of procedures and results. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, blood banking procedures, and physiology knowledge during all laboratory activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate specimen collection, processing, and testing in accordance with medical terminology standards. Assist in training new staff or interns on laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
