Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic clinical laboratory team. Responsibilities Conduct various laboratory tests including clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunoassays, and molecular diagnostics such as

PCR, RNA

extraction, DNA isolation, and flow cytometry. Manage specimen collection, processing, and analysis with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) regulations. Operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and quality control protocols are implemented consistently. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for accurate data entry, tracking specimens, and reporting results. Perform blood banking procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, blood sampling, and blood typing while maintaining patient safety. Interpret diagnostic test results accurately for clinical relevance and communicate findings effectively to healthcare providers. Implement laboratory quality control protocols to ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in research laboratory activities related to clinical trials or experimental assays requiring detailed data management. Maintain detailed documentation of laboratory procedures, test results, and equipment maintenance logs. Support laboratory management in inventory control of reagents, supplies, and medical equipment. Experience Proven experience working in a clinical or research laboratory environment with a strong background in medical laboratory work. Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures across disciplines such as hematology, microbiology testing, immunoassays, molecular diagnostics (PCR), and clinical chemistry testing. Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for data management. Experience implementing laboratory quality control measures aligned with CLIA regulations. Hands-on experience with specimen collection techniques including venipuncture and phlebotomy. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and blood banking procedures. Demonstrated ability to interpret diagnostic tests accurately within a hospital or healthcare setting. Knowledge of microbiology testing methods as well as cytotechnology is advantageous. Ability to operate complex medical laboratory equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to aseptic techniques. Prior involvement in clinical trials or research projects involving laboratory testing is preferred.
