185450 Overview Unity Point St. Luke's- Downtown Days 7:30a-4p The Ultrasound/Sonography Tech Lead is responsible for coordination of ICAVL certification.

- In conjunction with the Non-invasive Manager coordinate activities on a day to day basis for the vascular services department.
- Perform cardiac stress testing per protocol which includes explaining procedure, completing permits, prepping skin and ECG hook-up, treadmill demonstration, operating treadmill during procedure, monitoring blood pressure and pulse, observing and assessing patient post exercise, completing treadmill forms and documentation.
- Perform calculations and imaging of vessels with accurate reporting on PACS system.
- Make recommendations for replacement of existing equipment or new equipment as needed assuring efficient usage of resources
- Assure that all echo and vascular equipment is maintained for efficient usage.
Education:
- Graduation of formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent approved by ARDMS required .
- Certification in Echocardiographery or Peripheral Vascular required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Five (5) years of working experience in the US required .
- One to two years of Lead Technologist experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s):
- Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required .
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) credentialed required .
