A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description To apply for this position, please click the submit button and follow instructions. We are seeking a 20 hour Laboratory Medical Specialist for our Urgent Care Center. Works in conjunction with the Core Lab Supervisor. Responsibilities to include daily quality control, proficiency testing, and phlebotomy. Certificates/Security Clearances/Other Required Qualification:

1. Current RI State/DOH CLS (Clinical Lab Scientist) licensure 2. Associate's Degree in science or equivalent experience. 3. Must be able to perform phlebotomy 4. Must be able to run STAT laboratory testing 5. Certified in medical technology through MLT (ASCP) or equivalent program (DHHS, NCA).
