Responsibilities:
Join our team as a Laboratory Section Supervisor/Lead, where you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate testing, team leadership, and continuous improvement. This role follows all CLIA and regulatory requirements and leverages your expertise across multiple lab disciplines. Lead and support daily operations of your assigned lab section Serve as a trusted technical resource for physicians and clinical teams Drive quality and performance improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards Oversee quality assurance programs and monitor results accuracy Evaluate team performance and support staff development Maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation Identify and resolve testing issues to ensure optimal performance Perform complex laboratory testing across multiple areas (Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Microbiology, and more) Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of lab equipment Support safe, compliant operations aligned with hospital policies Assist with LIS/POC functions and other operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING ASCP
certification, or equivalent, required Requires two years of clinical laboratory work experience that cover all areas of a clinical laboratory. Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required. #LI-JO3 Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
