Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist Come join our amazing team at Holy Family Medical Associates, LLC! ! Hours vary Monday-Friday 6:45am-5:30pm 1 1/2 to 2 days a week. Opportunity to flex up on hours when other lab employees are out of the office on PTO. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct analyses of body fluids, such as blood or urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases and enter findings into computer. Interact and provide great patient care ensuring patients feel comfortable and welcome in the clinic. Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and operate medical laboratory equipment. Establish or monitor quality assurance programs or activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results. Help prepare for and participate in CLIA inspections. Develop, evaluate, or modify procedures, techniques, or tests used in the analysis of specimens. Collect blood via venipuncture capillary of all ages including infants. Collect swabbing samples from patients for testing. Advise clinicians and other health care providers on proper methods of collection of specimens. Communicate test results to medical professionals. Become familiar and knowledgeable with the LIS-EHR-Analyzer interfaces. Perform proficiency testing. Prepare specimens to be stored or transported to the reference laboratory. Maintain a log of supplies used in the laboratory and keep area stocked with supplies which may include assisting with ordering. Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Skills Talking to others to convey information effectively. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field, or education/training as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Pay:

$24.00 - $31.00 per hour
