A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

We are currently looking to hire a part time Medical Technician/Technologist to work in our

Employee Assistance Program Medical Technologist Responsibilities:
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures Follow CLIA, HIPPA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines Review and release test results. Workspace organization. Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or notify laboratory manager. Prepare urine, blood, and fluid for testing and analysis. Provide all necessary technical support to ensure the continued effective lab operations.
Computer skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and sending and receiving emails. Attendance is an essential component of the job
Medical Technologist Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited school and ASCP or equivalent certification One year of clinical medical technician/technologist experience. Good verbal and written communication. Knowledge and proficiency in uranalysis, hematology and chemistry. Good listening skills. BS In Medical Technology (Preferred), BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology or Associates degree in Laboratory Science. Excellent computer skills
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, flexibility is necessary as this schedule is subject to change
Job Locations:
Regular rotation to: Princeton and Plainsboro, NJ Proof Of
