Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Embark on your next career move with an exciting contract opportunity for Medical Laboratory Technologists and Medical Lab Technicians. This role is based in a dynamic healthcare environment, where you'll be contributing to vital diagnostic services and working with a collaborative team of professionals.
Schedule & Hours:
13-week assignment Evening shift, 5x8s Guaranteed 40 hours per week Flexible scheduling options available
Qualifications:
Generalist experience in a laboratory setting highly desirable Active New York State clinical laboratory license required ASCP or AMT certification preferred Compliance with
COVID-19
vaccination policies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist providers in patient diagnosis and care Analyze and record accurate results, ensuring adherence to established protocols Maintain strict quality control and instrument calibration standards Troubleshoot equipment or quality issues as needed Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to coordinate efficient workflows
