Position Overview Seeking a Full-time Registered Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) to provide high-quality overnight sleep diagnostic services.

Port Jefferson, NY Schedule:

Weekend night shifts 3. Key Responsibilities Review patient histories and physician orders. Explain sleep study procedures to patients. Prepare patients for overnight testing. Set up and calibrate sleep diagnostic equipment. Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards. Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies. Monitor sleep studies and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Collect accurate sleep, respiratory, cardiac, and neurological data. Score and analyze sleep-related events. Perform PAP mask fitting and troubleshooting when appropriate. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Follow laboratory, regulatory, quality, and safety standards. 4. Requirements Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program. Current New York PSG license. Current BLS/CPR certification. Required vaccinations and health clearances. Strong technical and critical-thinking skills. Excellent patient care and communication skills. 5. Education Completion of an accredited Polysomnography/Sleep Technology program. 6. Certifications Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential. Current BLS/CPR certification. Active New York PSG license. 7. Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting overnight sleep studies. Experience with PAP titration and mask fitting. Sleep study scoring experience. Pay:

$40.00 - $53.00 per hour Application Question(s): Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential. Active New York PSG license.
