Austin Diagnostic Clinic, a physician-owned multispecialty group, is seeking a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist to support our outpatient imaging services. In this role, you will perform limited-scope diagnostic X-ray exams under Texas regulations, ensuring high-quality images, radiation safety, and excellent patient care. You'll prepare and position patients, verify orders, document in EHR and PACS, and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams. Responsibilities Perform limited-scope diagnostic radiographic exams per Texas regulations and ADC protocols Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety, privacy, and comfort Verify orders, correct patient identification, and appropriate exam selection Operate, position, and adjust radiologic equipment to obtain quality images Apply radiation safety principles, including proper shielding and exposure techniques Assist providers and clinical staff with patient flow and exam coordination Document exams accurately in the electronic health record and imaging systems Maintain exam rooms, equipment cleanliness, and supply levels Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards Participate in quality improvement and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Required Skills Limited-scope radiography X-ray equipment operation Patient positioning and immobilization Radiation safety and ALARA principles Digital imaging and PACSElectronic health records (EHR) documentation Infection control and OSHA compliance HIPAA and patient privacy Basic life support (BLS) Communication and patient education
