A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description

Position Summary Responsible for performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner. Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required.
Qualifications MLT/CLT:
Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS)
MT/CLS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Licensure & Certifications
MLT/CLT & MT/CLS
Registration with a nationally recognized certifying organization is highly recommended. ASCP registration is preferred.

Full-time, Day shift, Every other Wed 6pm-6:30am, every other Fri-Tue, 6am-6:30pm
