Schedule:

8/17 start date 7 consecutive 10-hour night shifts (21000700) followed by 7 consecutive days off, within a two-week period Rotating Thursday week ending (Friday-Thursday)

Qualifications:

Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS/ASCP or equivalent) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Associates or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Proficient in all routine laboratory procedures, with experience in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology Comfortable working independently during night shifts Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy Registration or eligibility with relevant accrediting body preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of laboratory analyses on various sample types, using both manual and automated methods Follow detailed protocols to ensure the accuracy of test results in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology Accurately document results, troubleshoot equipment issues, and communicate critical findings appropriately Maintain proper operation of laboratory instruments, including calibration and daily maintenance Follow laboratory policies on quality control, infection prevention, and patient confidentiality Collaborate efficiently with clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment This unique schedule offers extended periods off to support a healthy work-life balance, while providing meaningful opportunities to impact patient care through laboratory excellence.
