On My Own Community Services (OMOCS), a non-profit organization, empowers adults with disabilities by providing inclusive vocational services and job placement support. As a Vocational Specialist , you'll: Coach clients in employment, education, certifications, or volunteerism. Develop personalized job opportunities aligned with client goals. Advocate for inclusive, person-centered workforce participation. Spend 90% of your time supporting clients in community settings. Maintain detailed records and collaborate with employers and advocates.
What You'll Bring:
Passion for working with individuals with disabilities (experience preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team. Valid CA driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus.
