1/15/2026 About the Role Clarvida is seeking an ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Vocational Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in supporting adults with serious and persistent mental illness. In this role, you will work closely with clients to help them overcome barriers to employment and assist in the development of their Individual Recovery Plan (IRP). You will guide clients through career training, job development, coaching, and provide ongoing support to ensure their long-term success in the workforce. As part of the ACT team, you will also work collaboratively with therapists, case managers, peer specialists, and other professionals to deliver holistic care that aligns with each client's personal recovery goals. Responsibilities Assess the impact of mental health on employment and help clients set and achieve employment goals Provide job training, career coaching, and job placement support Support clients in developing and maintaining independent employment Educate clients about financial management, benefits, and employer disability disclosure Connect clients to community resources and offer crisis intervention when necessary Provide transportation for clients to job sites, interviews, and other necessary appointments Participate in an on-call rotation every six weeks Requirements 1+ year of verifiable vocational rehabilitation training and/or experience Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Quicken programs Valid Georgia Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Clean criminal background check (no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation) Compensation & Benefits Full-Time Employees Paid vacation days that increase with tenure Separate sick leave that rolls over annually Up to 10 paid holidays
