Responsibilities The NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is responsible and accountable for the quality of nursing care provided in the NICU. Providing policies, procedures, clinical orientation, staff development, mentoring, consultation, and the maintenance of state and national standards of care. The CNS is responsible for the collection, submission, evaluation and dissemination of required data. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.

Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State. 2. Current certification by the State Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist 3.
