Position Summary The Quality & Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that products and services consistently meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role leads the development and maintenance of quality systems and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and external suppliers, the individual will ensure a compliant and high-performing supply chain by managing supplier quality, conducting audits, resolving quality issues, and maintaining adherence to company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards, including ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001.
Lead supplier qualification, approval, monitoring, and performance management processes in accordance with quality agreements and specifications. Establish and track quality KPIs, analyze quality data, conduct internal and supplier audits, and provide performance reporting to senior leadership. Oversee quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and product evaluations throughout the manufacturing process. Train and mentor employees on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies. Investigate customer complaints and quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Maintain quality documentation, including manuals, compliance records, audit reports, and statistical analyses. Participate in management reviews and contribute to strategic planning, operational goals, and performance improvement initiatives. Drive supplier quality improvement programs to ensure materials, components, and services consistently meet quality, regulatory, and performance expectations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. 7+ years of quality management experience, including at least 3 years of supplier quality and ISO certification experience. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, supplier auditing, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop teams, mentor employees, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with external suppliers.
