This role oversees the ADvantage CQI program and Home Health QAPI activities; monitors audits, outcomes, and corrective actions; identifies systemic improvement opportunities; and partners with operational, nursing, training, and executive leaders to strengthen accountability and continuous improvement. The CQI Manager works under the supervision of the Chief Culture, Quality & Compliance Officer and performs all responsibilities in alignment with Bios' mission, philosophy, person-centered values, and strategic priorities.
Physical requirements and travel:
Occasional travel is required. The role may involve extended sitting or standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasional evening or weekend work during emergencies or deadlines.

Regulatory Compliance & Survey Management Coordinate readiness for state, Medicaid, Medicare, payer, and contractual audits, reviews, and surveys, including documentation requests, corrective action plans, follow-up responses, and ongoing tracking of deficiencies, citations, recommendations, and completion status. Support BiosHealth during external audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) & QAPI Management Lead BiosHealth ADvantage CQI and support Bios Home Health QAPI activities by facilitating quality committees, reviewing performance trends, identifying risks and root causes, and monitoring action plans that improve outcomes, compliance, satisfaction, and operational effectiveness. Maintain QAPI meeting minutes including data summary and complete quarterly reporting requirements. Internal Auditing & Quality Monitoring Conduct routine and targeted audits of documentation, service delivery, personnel records, billing support documentation, regulatory requirements, and operational practices. Monitor quality indicators and compliance metrics across BiosHealth and Bios Home Health services. Coordinate quality monitoring activities with Program Directors, Nurse Managers, and operational leaders. Verify that quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements are consistently implemented. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting Utilize Power BI, dashboards, quality metrics, audit findings, satisfaction data, and operational reports to evaluate performance. Develop reports and scorecards for leadership review. Monitor trends and emerging risks impacting quality, compliance, client outcomes, and organizational performance. Provide recommendations for process improvement based on data analysis and audit results. Corrective Action & Process Improvement Develop, coordinate, and monitor corrective action plans resulting from audits, surveys, investigations, complaints, grievances, or performance concerns. Evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions and verify sustained improvement. Facilitate root cause analysis and process mapping activities. Partner with leadership to implement sustainable system improvements that reduce risk and improve outcomes. Quality Education and Operational Support Communicate quality and regulatory requirements to operational leaders and support departments. Assist with development of policies, procedures, tools, and quality resources. Support leadership teams in understanding quality expectations, audit standards, and performance indicators. Participate in strategic planning, quality initiatives, and organizational improvement efforts.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, business, quality, management, or a related field preferred. At least three years of experience in quality improvement, compliance, auditing, healthcare operations, home care, home health, or related fields. Experience leading improvement, auditing, compliance, or accreditation activities. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality management principles, corrective action processes, data analysis, leadership reporting, and project management.
Preferred qualifications:
RN or LPN license; experience with Advantage Waiver services, home care, home health, Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare quality programs, state surveys, audits, accreditation reviews, Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, quality reporting systems, or prior leadership responsibilities.
