Houston, TX We are seeking a Community Mental Health Specialist to provide behavioral health services in community settings. This position involves working directly with clients, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with other professionals to support treatment goals. Responsibilities Provide behavioral health support services in community settings. Meet with clients according to established service plans. Assist clients in developing coping, communication, and daily living skills. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Coordinate services with families, providers, and community resources as appropriate. Travel within the Houston area to provide services. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet one of the following: High school diploma or GED with at least three (3) years of professional mental health experience, or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing behavioral health or community-based services. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to complete required background screening.
