Prepare and manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and record vital signs, medical imaging, and dental x-rays while adhering to proper safety protocols for radiation exposure. Manage patient management software to schedule appointments, update medical documentation, and facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic. Maintain dental equipment and ensure all tools are properly sterilized, functioning correctly, and ready for use in four-handed dentistry practices. Support infection prevention management by following clinical confidentiality policies and implementing healthcare infection control expertise across all clinical activities. Requirements Prior experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Knowledge of dental equipment operation, dental sterilization procedures, and infection control practices including aseptic technique. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation accurately. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with dentists, hygienists, pediatric specialists, and patients of all ages.
