  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a dedicated part time Dental Assistant to join our team with future full time available. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing excellent patient care and maintaining efficient workflow in a fast-paced dental office.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
  • Take and develop dental x-rays under the direction of a dentist
  • Perform aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
  • Provide infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Utilize medical terminology accurately in patient records and communication
  • Assist with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for dental restorations
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Record vital signs and assist with patient assessments
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Previous work as a Dental Assistant or relevant healthcare experience preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
  • Ability to accurately record and monitor vital signs during procedures
  • Strong assisting skills to support dentists effectively
