Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental assistants and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and maintained according to infection prevention management protocols. Manage patient flow efficiently using Dentrix. Take and develop dental x-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety standards; operate 3D scanner. Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are strictly followed when handling medical documentation and medical records. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care. Oversee dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest infection control standards. Support the dental team by ordering supplies. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong background in general dentistry, endodontics, or prosthodontics. Demonstrated leadership abilities in a dental clinic setting; previous supervisory or lead roles are highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment operation, and clinical procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Familiarity with Dentrix; experience with patient management software is essential. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies; proficient in dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques. Ability to accurately interpret medical terminology and medical documentation for effective patient care coordination. $24.93 - $30.02 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
