Requirements:

Dental Assisting Certification - Required 1-2 year of dental assisting experience preferred(We are happy to train the right candidate!) Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude Must be able to commute to Arcadia, CA 91006 Work location is in-person only Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments, equipment, and supplies in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies. Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside assistance with precision and care. Take high-quality dental x-rays and medical imaging using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort while adhering to HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and medical records confidentiality. Manage patient flow by greeting patients as they arrive, updating medical records, taking vital signs, and ensuring patients are comfortable throughout their visit. Operate patient management software such as Eaglesoft to schedule appointments, update treatment plans, and document clinical notes accurately. Support the dental team with administrative tasks including answering phones as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing patient inquiries efficiently. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies at all times while practicing aseptic technique to prevent infection transmission among patients and staff.
