Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
- Proficiency in medical imaging, including taking and developing dental x-rays
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with infection control procedures and protocols
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical documentation
Skills:
- Medical imaging (x-rays)
