Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
• Proficiency in medical imaging, including taking and developing dental x-rays
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and protocols
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical documentation

Skills:

• Medical imaging (x-rays)
