Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls for patient care. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed in various procedures. Skills Proficient knowledge in general dentistry practices and dental terminology. Understanding of anatomy related to dental health. Experience with endodontics procedures is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Strong skills in infection control measures within a dental clinic setting. Ability to effectively assist during dental procedures with attention to detail. Competence in using 3D scanning technology for accurate imaging. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
