Our practice utilizes modern technology and offer a wide array of services-ranging from preventive and general dentistry to cosmetic treatments, periodontal care, implants, and oral surgery-all under one roof. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and compassionate Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our dentists and specialists to deliver high-quality patient care, streamline chairside procedures, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.Key Responsibilities Chairside Assisting:
Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general exams, restorations, cosmetic treatments, periodontal therapy, and surgical procedures.Patient Preparation:
Greet patients, review health histories, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.Diagnostic Imaging:
Take high-quality, clear diagnostic dental X-rays as ordered by the doctor.Infection ControlSterilization:
Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment in strict compliance with standard health and safety guidelines.Clinical Administration:
Accurately update patient records, record treatment notes, and assist with lab case tracking and equipment maintenance.Patient Education:
Post-procedure care instructions and oral hygiene guidance to patients clearly and empathetically.QualificationsRequirements Certification:
Valid California RDA license or Dental Assisting certificate (RDA preferred).X-RayCPR:
Current California Radiation Safety (X-ray) certification and active BLS/CPR certification.Experience:
Previous clinical experience in a dental practice preferred; knowledge of general dentistry, restorative, and surgical assisting is a plus.Technical Skills:
Proficiency with digital dental software, digital X-rays, and standard clinical charting.Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to patient care. ScheduleHours Practice operating hours include Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with select Wednesday and Saturday hours by appointment.
