NU Dental Aesthetics is a brand-new, state-of-the-art aesthetic dental practice in Huntington Beach , featuring advanced technology (digital scanning, CBCT imaging, 3D printing, and milling), high-quality equipment and materials, beautiful design, and efficient clinical workflows. We prioritize quality over quantity, precision, continued learning, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Compensation During the initial three-month period, starting compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and expanded-function proficiency: $34/hour: Newer RDAEF2 or limited expanded-function experience $37/hour: Experienced RDAEF2 $40/hour: Strong RDAEF2 consistently and proficiently utilizing expanded functions $43-$46/hour (future growth potential): Reserved for an exceptional, highly proficient RDAEF2 who, over time, demonstrates the ability to take on significant advanced clinical responsibilities. This compensation level is not applicable during the initial three-month training period. Following the initial 90-day period , compensation will be reviewed with the opportunity for an increase based on clinical and expanded-function proficiency, efficiency, professionalism, patient care, and overall contribution to the practice. Our goal is to reward team members as their skills, responsibilities, and contribution to the practice grow. Benefits For eligible employees, additional benefits may be available after the initial 90 days, including: 401(k) retirement benefits Health insurance Paid time off Position Structure The position will begin part-time for the first three months as a training and integration period. We offer flexibility in scheduling during this initial period and are willing to work with the right candidate based on their availability and preferred days of the week. During this period, the RDAEF2 will work directly with the dentist while learning our clinical protocols, materials, technology, systems, digital workflows, and patient-care standards.
Following the first three months:
The position is expected to transition to full-time We plan to hire an additional DA/RDA to support the RDAEF2 and dentist The RDAEF2 will increasingly focus on expanded-function and restorative procedures When four-handed dentistry is indicated, the RDAEF2 will work alongside a DA/RDA for clinical support Cross-Training & Team Culture Although RDAEF2 is the primary role , we are intentionally building a collaborative team where everyone understands how the practice operates. The RDAEF2 will therefore be cross-trained in: Patient coordination Dental administrative workflows Digital laboratory workflows Qualifications Required Active California RDAEF2 license Active California RDA license Infection Control and Radiation Safety certifications Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience Use of dental loupes for procedures where magnification is appropriate
Pay:
$34.00 - $46.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
