About the Role The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC is seeking a skilled, part-time 20%, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry faculty position to join the Department of Advanced Periodontology team. This position plays a critical role in clinical teaching in the post-doctoral Advanced Periodontology Program. In this program, you will focus on diagnosis, risk assessment, treatment planning, and surgical periodontal and dental implant therapy. Direct faculty supervision is a required component of resident education, ensuring high-quality patient care while providing the hands-on clinical training necessary for residents to develop competency and meet program accreditation standards. At least 2 years in clinical periodontology and implant surgery Experience in resective and regenerative periodontal surgery Experience in periodontal mucogingival and plastic surgery Experience in implant surgery and implant site development, including autogenous as well as biomaterials regenerative procedures.
