Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. Hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and patient care.

• Duties:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records using proper medical documentation
• Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
• Provide support in pediatric dentistry procedures

• Requirements:

• X-ray license and coronal polish license required
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and vital signs
• Proficiency in Eaglesoft software is a plus
