This dual role combines front-office responsibilities with clinical assistance, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality treatment experiences. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify patient information, and manage appointment scheduling using patient management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Handle all aspects of dental reception including answering phones, confirming appointments, and processing payments in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments according to infection prevention management protocols and dental sterilization procedures Assist dentists during clinical procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring proper use of dental equipment and adherence to radiation safety standards Manage medical documentation by updating electronic health records (EMR systems), recording vital signs, medical imaging results, and detailed dental notes using software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while ensuring infection control standards are strictly followed to prevent cross-contamination Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient records and scheduling Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques, sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic technique Familiarity with dental instruments, equipment operation including 3D scanners, and medical imaging tools used during clinical procedures Strong understanding of healthcare infection control policies and clinical confidentiality policies to ensure patient safety and privacy Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, providing compassionate patient care from check-in to treatment completion Join us in delivering outstanding dental care through a vibrant team environment that values your skills and dedication.
