Looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing dental team in Moreno Valley, CA! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals in a patient-focused environment where your skills and passion for orthodontic care truly make a difference.Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures Place and remove orthodontic brackets, bands, wires, and ligatures under doctor supervision Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and impressions for treatment planning Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, compliant treatment area Greet patients, manage appointment flow, and ensure a positive patient experienceRequirements:
Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience strongly preferred Dental Assistant certification or RDA license preferred (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, terminology, and equipment Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered chairside manner Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office Knowledge of dental practice management software is a plusAbout Us:
