Whether you are an experienced assistant ready to step into a key role or a motivated entry level personel getting into assisting, we welcome you to apply. You will work closely with the doctor and team across general dentistry handling both chairside assisting and core back-office flow.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Assisting:
Provide chairside 4-handed assisting for general dentistry procedures (restorative, crown/bridge) and endodontic treatments.
Operatory Prep & Sterilization:
Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently, sanitize instruments, and maintain strict infection control standards.
Imaging & Records:
Take high-quality digital X-rays and CBCT 3D scans.
Patient Care & Communication:
Warmly greet patients, escort them to treatment rooms, explain procedures, answer basic treatment questions, and ensure a comfortable experience.
Practice Software:
Utilize Open Dental for updating patient charts, clinical notes, and treatment workflow.
General Back-Office Tasks:
Stock operatories, manage lab cases, assist with inventory, and support overall office flow. Qualifications & Skills Previous Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) experience preferred (motivated entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply) . Active California Dental X-ray certification (or RDA license) preferred. Familiarity with endodontic instrumentation and workflows is a plus. Proficiency with Open Dental software is preferred. Excellent communication skills, warm patient manner, and a strong work ethic.
