The ideal candidate will possess current dental assisting license and experience doing a variety of tasks including observing procedures, sterilizing equipment and preparing treatment rooms. The right individual will work well in a team setting, have a positive attitude and be eager to learn more about dentistry and the dental field. He or she must also be able to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, be highly organized and work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentist with patients. Prepare dental instruments and cleanings. Perform dental x-rays. Communicate with patients. Maintain dental office records. Explain to patients the steps in various dental procedures.
