  • $24 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Management Interpersonal skills English Medical scheduling Attention to detail Cleaning Full Job Description We are seeking a full time front office staff who will also be open to working as a dental assistant if needed.
The work schedule will be Tuesday throughs Saturday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a team player with a positive attitude and motivated to learn in our fast-paced environment.
Front desk responsibilities include:
  • Scheduling patients
  • Answering phone calls
  • Contacting insurance/checking insurance benefits/following up on insurance claims
  • Presenting treatment plans to patients
  • Collecting payment from patients Dental assistant responsibilities include:
  • Breaking down/setting up treatment rooms for the doctor
  • Clean/Sterilize instruments
  • Taking x-rays (if not licensed, we will offer training and pay for licensure)
  • Chair side assisting with the doctors
Skills:
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
  • Excellent communication skills and people skills
  • Detail oriented
Experience:
  • Dental office experience preferred but not required
  • Insurance billing experience preferred but not required
Compensation:
  • Based on experience
