Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients. Duties
  • Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
  • Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments
  • Take dental X-rays
  • Maintain patient records and documentation
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
  • Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle general dentistry tasks as needed
  • Utilize medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation
  • Assist with pediatric patients in a caring and compassionate manner
  • Implement four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care Skills
  • Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and coding
  • Experience with infection control protocols
  • Familiarity with general dentistry practices
  • Ability to work with pediatric patients effectively
  • Competency in using Cloud 9 or similar dental systems for documentation
  • Strong organizational skills for managing patient records efficiently
  • Capability in four-handed dentistry techniques for procedural assistance
