Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Full Time
Job Description
We are a modern, privately owned general dental practice in Oakland CA, looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, team-oriented, and confident working independently when needed. Someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable supporting the doctor throughout all aspects of general dentistry. Qualifications Current California RDA license Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience Proficient with digital X-rays Experience with traditional and digital impressions CEREC same-day crown experience preferred iTero scanning experience preferred Strong understanding of sterilization and infection-control protocols Comfortable assisting with restorative, crown, emergency, and general dental procedures Excellent communication and patient-care skills Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures Prepare operatories and patients for treatment Take digital X-rays, impressions, and digital scans Perform iTero scanning Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control standards Turnover and prepare operatories efficiently Maintain accurate clinical documentation Anticipate the doctor's needs and help maintain an efficient clinical schedule Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to provide an excellent patient experience What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Monthly bonus opportunities Health, vision, and dental benefits PTO and paid sick time Growth and development opportunities Consistent Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Supportive, team-oriented private-practice environment If you're an experienced RDA who is dependable, positive, and takes pride in your work, we'd love to meet you.
