Bilingual Part-time Front Desk/Dental Assistant Dr. Jose Ruben Ramirez Family Dentistry Ontario, CA Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Dental assisting Phone communication Customer service Dental receptionist English Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Dental office experience Full Job Description We are looking to hire a personable dental assistant to mainly support the office's front desk duties such as patient appointment scheduling, insurance billing, and other general office obligations such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing. The schedule for the position is as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10AM-7PM. Every other Saturday from 9AM-2PM.
Front Desk Assistant Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Walking patients back to be seated in patient rooms. Help manage appointment book with scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, or canceling appointments as needed. Call insurances in order to bill for patient treatments completed, check patient eligibility, and routine status checks on preauthorizations. Call patients periodically for check ups and follow ups. Answer phones.
Front Desk Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Proven experience working in a dental office is required. Experience in dental practice management software (OpenDental) is a plus . Working knowledge of general administrative practices. Good telephone etiquette. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Bilingual is Spanish and English is required.
