Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics, providing chairside support with precision and professionalism. Take and develop X-ray images while ensuring proper radiation safety measures are followed. Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, including updating medical history and documenting procedures accurately. Monitor vital signs and assist in medical imaging when needed to support comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support administrative tasks such as dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, and managing medical documentation to ensure smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in dental software systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, along with familiarity with Epic or other medical documentation platforms. Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team.
