Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Ghina Morad DMD A Professional Corporation Redwood City, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $38 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Registered Dental Assistant Full Job Description Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Ghina Morad DMD is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable supporting both general dentistry and orthodontic procedures. This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position offering competitive compensation of $30-$38 per hour, depending on experience. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Have experience working in a dental office environment Provide excellent patient service and help create a comfortable, welcoming experience Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Work effectively as part of a team and be willing to assist wherever needed Be organized, dependable, and attentive to detail Be interested in learning and developing additional orthodontic assisting skills Experience with orthodontic procedures is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Greet and seat patients and ensure they are comfortable throughout their visit Prepare treatment rooms and provide patient comfort items as needed Apply topical anesthetic Take patient and orthodontic progress photos Take FMX, bitewing, and cephalometric radiographs Provide chairside assistance to the doctor during dental procedures Turn over treatment rooms between patients Sterilize dental instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures Stock operatories and monitor necessary clinical supplies Coordinate and track dental lab cases Communicate supply needs to the lead assistant Assist with treatment presentations for new and existing patients Review pending treatment with patients and assist with scheduling Chart clinical notes using Open Dental templates for doctor review Develop additional skills related to orthodontic assisting Provide backup support answering patient and new-patient phone calls when needed Assist with recall scheduling and other patient follow-up Support other team members as needed to help maintain an efficient, patient-centered practice Schedule & Compensation Full-Time 4 days per week $30-$38 per hour, depending on experience If you are an experienced RDA who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing high-quality clinical support, and being part of a collaborative dental team, we would love to hear from you.
