PART TIME -WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ONLY
Join our dynamic dental t eam as a Dental Assistant where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptio nal patient care and ensuring smooth office operations! In this vibrant position, you'll be the friendly face that greets patients, assist the doctor, supports our dental professionals in providing top-notch services. Your contributions will help create a welcoming environment for our patients while maintaining the highest standards of care. What you'll do Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Assist front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, and maintaining patient records as needed Support dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments Maintain organized medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Meditech. Conduct intake assessments and review care plans to ensure comprehensive patient management. Collaborate with the dental team to provide outstanding patient service and support clinic operations efficiently. Basic qualifications X-ray License, Infection Control knowledge Proficiency in medical terminology and coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding) to facilitate accurate documentation and billing processes. Strong computer skills with familiarity Dentrix or Easy Dental Preferred qualifications Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Previous experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. A background in medical administrative support or clerical roles that demonstrates your organizational prowess and attention to detail.
