Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant (40 hours/week) to join our busy dental office in Sunnyvale. The ideal candidate will help create an efficient, welcoming, and comfortable experience for patients while supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with dental practice management software. Candidates should be able to follow directions carefully and adhere to all dental office protocols and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with Invisalign attachment placement and iTero scanning is plus Surgical assisting experience is a plusCompensation & Benefits:
Competitive base pay Benefits package 401(k) Matching Plan Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner Prepare patients for exams and treatments while ensuring their comfort Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures Sterilize and maintain instruments according to safety regulations Assist the dentist and RDA with four-handed dentistry procedures Complete laboratory tasks as directed Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment area Schedule patient appointments and manage daily workflow Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment processing Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Hands-on experience with dental instruments and sterilization techniques Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a dental setting Ability to perform regulated non-surgical duties, such as coronal polishing, is a plus Strong computer and software skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented High school diploma required; graduation from an accredited dental assistant program preferredJob Type:
