Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for procedures Assist dentists during various treatments, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as OpenDental or similar software Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout visits Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and dental terminology in a clear, compassionate manner Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive medical information with professionalism Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection control protocols Knowledge of dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, dental chairs, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Strong understanding of medical terminology related to general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics Skilled in using patient management software such as Dentrix or similar systems for scheduling and record keeping Experience with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise to uphold the highest standards of clinical hygiene Ability to perform dental assisting tasks efficiently , experience with oral surgery, Endo will be a plus Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy standards in handling medical records Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication enhances patient experiences daily. Pay:
