High school diploma or GED X-Ray Certification Dental terminology Stocking Full Job Description Job Summary We are a private dental office with a great location, wonderful patients, super staff and an excellent lead dentist that loves what she does. Core to our practice is a friendly team dedicated to quality dentistry, gentle care and kind interactions with our patients. We are looking for a kind, energetic and capable dental assistant who wants to be part of our wonderful dental team. Patients are seen Tuesday-Friday and one Saturday a month. Office is open Monday (staff takes turns covering). We do have specialty like Endodontist, Periodontist and Oral surgeon coming in once a month. Responsibilities and Duties Duties may include:
  • Welcome & prepare patients
  • Sterilize & organize instruments
  • Prepare dental exam room, ensure stocked and organized
  • Assist in dental procedures, temporaries
  • Answer phones, schedule and support front as needed
  • Take inter oral scans, X-rays, impressions and assist in lab communication
  • Instruct patients on dental care and hygiene Qualifications and Skills Big Plus
  • Experience making temporaries
  • Inter oral scanning experience Nice to have:
  • Pleasant attitude, good communication skills (phone/in-person), organized & focused
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
  • Kind chair-side manner
  • 2-3 yrs of related experience
  • General education degree or high school diploma & X-ray License, working knowledge of
OSHA & HIPPA
