Orthodontic Dental Assistant

$24-$30/hour,

Role :
We are a fast-growing dental company in Los Angeles County. Our state-of-the-art dental practice is seeking a talented & enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
The core duties include, but are not limited to: Perform orthodontic adjustments Prepare teeth for bonding and debanding Assist in the placement and removal of appliances Sterilize instruments and operatories Take digital radiographs and full records Take alginate impressions Fixed retainer fabrication and cementation Bracket set-up/placement Charting of patient information Impressions for study models Placement of space maintainers Communicate with patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with HIPPA Select and pre-size orthodontic bands & arch wires prescribed by the orthodontist Remove and re-cement properly contoured and fitting loose bands that are not permanently attached to any appliance Assist orthodontist with orthodontic treatment Encourage, educate, and motivate patients to follow the recommendations of the doctor.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2+ years of related experience An active OA or RDA License A current CPR certification
